Born in Italy from a long family tradition in the world of fragrances, AVAU is much more than a luxury perfumery brand: it's an invitation to reconnect with oneself through the cc11979-invisible language of scent. The name itself – AVAU, a phoneme meaning "a promise" – encapsulates the essence of the brand: to accompany each person on a journey of intimate and authentic discovery. Founded by the siblings Leonardo, Carolina, and Caterina Catalani, AVAU transforms perfume into a personal, intense, and conscious experience, far from trends and close to the essence of the wearer.

AVAU's story has its roots in 1980, when the founders' grandparents opened an exclusive perfumery in Vatican City. A heritage that has been passed down over time, giving rise to a new generation of creators who have chosen to combine tradition and contemporary vision. Leonardo, Creative Director, interprets each fragrance as a work of art, letting emotions and intuitions speak. Carolina, Strategy Director, guides the project with rigor and inspiration, while Caterina, a perfumer trained in Grasse, gives voice to nature and inner self through olfactory matter.
